5 th September- Teacher’s Day
15 th September – World Engineers Day
16 th September – World Ozone Day
22 nd September - Birthday of British scientist Michael Faraday who contributed to the fields of electromagnetism and electrochemistry. His main discoveries include that of the magnetic field, electromagnetic induction, diamagnetism and electrolysis.
27 th September- World Tourism Day
28 th September- World Heart Day
29 th September- Birthday of Italian-born, naturalized American physicist  Enrico Fermi. He was known for his work on the development of the first nuclear reactor, Chicago Pile-1, and for his contributions to the development of quantum theory, nuclear and particle physics, and statistical mechanics. He was awarded the 1938 Nobel Prize in physics.



Visiting Hours : 9.30 am to 6.00 pm (Entry given only upto 5.30 pm)

Open on all days throughout the year (Except Holi and Diwali)

Planetarium Shows : 11.00 am, 1.00 pm, 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm

3D Shows : 10.30 am, 12.30 pm, 2.30 pm, 4.30 pm
